For your consideration is a used made by Levin thread or Screw cutting lathe. The set includes the following. 18: lathe bed with 3C headstock. + adapter and drawbar for 10mm collets, Metric cross slide, Rack and pinion 10mm collet tailstock. The cross slide is fitted with Quick change tool post and two tool holders. Screw or thread cutting attachment. With complete set of gears including 127 tooth translation gear which allows you to cut Imperial treads with the Metric slide. The attachment is set up to be driven with a crank handle mounted at the rear of the headstock for ultimate control, but it can also be driven by the 1/11 HP brushless Bodine motor and The SRS Bodine speed controller if small diameters are worked. The speed control unit is 110v but can be used with 220 if step up transformer is used. It is highly sophisticated control as you can adjust the speed, torque, Start delay, acceleration and deceleration. It will run Bodine brushless motors up to 3/8HP (an internal fuse has to be replaced and 3 DIP switches flipped) Motors of 1/8, 1/4, 1/5 and 3/8 HP are available. The current motor installed is 1/11 HP. I can provide the manual for this control in a digital or printed form.
