This is an unusual metal lathe, it has a Drummond bed with a Myford ML7 headstock and Brook Crompton 1/2HP motor attached. A little over 3 1/2″ centre height, with a small bed gap admitting up to 10″ diameter. It appears to be a home brew conversion, but it is a solid transformation, I have done several jobs with this including screwcutting. It has an 8TPI leadscrew, and Drummond automatic disengagement lever. A box of Myford changewheels including the 127T for metric threads. It is suitable for hobby use but most likely would not meet high standards of accuracy. Motor sometimes doesn’t start, I just rotate it slightly and then it springs to life with plenty of power. It has a very long cross slide, over 14 long, so you could setup multiple toolposts on it. Wired to a standard single phase UK 13A plug, forward and reverse switch included. Please see the photos of the extra tools and changewheels included, which I feel adds significant value. There is a 3 jaw scroll chuck, 4 jaw independent chuck, thread protector, catchplate and drive dog, Right angle plate for basic milling, live centre, and many HSS and carbide tools. You are welcome to the metal base underneath aswell if you wish. Local collection from Letchworth SG6 4QX also possible, you will need to partially dissassemble it, all parts fit in the back of a hatchback.
