I have upgraded and it is time to pass this good lathe on to someone else. I have used the lathe to turn steel, plastic, aluminum and brass. I have center drilled small diameter shafts (clock movements) without issue. I have found it to be functional and within expected standards. Both the three jaw scroll chuck and the drill chuck expand and contract freely and seem to have little or no wear. There are no visible signs of collisions on either. The jaws in both are in good shape. (tiny nicks and no gouges). The cross slide and saddle operate freely without any rough spots. The Tail stock spindle is tight and operates freely. The head stock and tail stock tool mounting threads are in good shape. I have never operated the machine as a mill but the milling post change over is included.
