This Derbyshire Lathe set up came from a Clock and Watch Makers Estate. It has a nice Electra Derbyshire Lathe supported on twin pedestals and fitted with the heavier “Combination” tail stock and a screw-feed compound slide rest. Comes with about 64, 10mm Collets some are metric and some are standard and 27 Step or Wheel Collets. Counter shaft, Tip up tool rest. Additionally it comes with a Shop made Derbyshire 8mm milling attachment and a over head milling counter shaft. Also a heavy duty Derby Shire Cross Slide. The watchmaker made his own wheels and balance staffs for his watches and clocks. The lathe is in good condition but needs a little cleaning. If you are looking to up grade to a 10mm then here is a good set up. The Step Collets or Wheel collets are extremely hard to find. The Watchmaker had the milling setup made for this lathe by a Ohio Machine shop to match using a 8mm Derbyshire head stock and it works great with the overhead counter shaft.
