For sale is our beautiful South Bend 10K Lathe, using 6K collets. This is NOT a heavy 10 so do not ask, please. This machine is in like new condition regarding wear. See photos of ways. It sits on a factory full cabinet with three drawers. Machine is what every home machinist wants. And it comes fully tooled (sans a taper attachment). This is a 115/230 volt SINGLE Phase machine, the 1/2 HP motor is factory wired at 115 volts (normal outlet in a home). The foot print is 50″ X 25″ and is 46 high at the head stock. The spindle is threaded 1 1/2 X 8TPI. There is about 35 thousandths back lash on both the cross and saddle slides. S/N 30161KKR The following tooling comes with the machine: 1 Bison 5 3 jaw chuck with reversible hardened master top jaws, key. Also a set of aluminum jaws. 2 Union Manufacturing 6 independent 4 jaw chuck, key. 3 6 face plate 4 South Bend threading stop 5 South Bend micro adjust carriage stop 6 South Bend threading dial 7 South Bend telescoping follower rest 8 South Bend telescoping steady rest 9 Lantern tool post, including: left, straight, right, boring bar , and two cutoff tool holders, straight and a right. 10 Yuasa quick change tool post with a couple holders 11 Handwheel 6K collet closer. The 6K collets fit right into the head stock taper. Therei s no adapter on this model machine. 12 69 English and Metric collets. Almost all are brand new, unused, South Bend collets.
