Description: A fully working Emco Concept Turn 55 CNC Lathe with Windows based computer system with Emco CNC software loaded. I’ve never had one of these before. This is a newer (ca 2008) version of the Emco PCTurn 55 / Compact 5 CNC lathe series. Exclusions: The rolling carts and stands and all t he other possessions in my garage are not included in this listing. Trade-ins: Emco Maximat lathe and FB-2 mill tooling trade-ins are encouraged. Note: The Emco Concept Turn 55 CNC Lathe is the updated version (ca 2008) of the original Emco Compact 5 CNC lathe and the Emco PCTurn 50 and PCTurn 55 CNC lathes. It has an identical Emco DIN head stock with MT2 taper, lathe bed, cross slide table and MT1 taper tail stock and uses the same tooling. It uses a RJ45 network adapter for communication between the CNC lathe and the Windows based computer. Includes key for Control Box On Off switch. Condition: Excellent working condition as demonstrated to me when picked up April 2017. Iron ways in very good condition. From the Fanuc keyboard I can jog the X and Z axis AND turn the spindle ON and OFF with rotation at 300 rpm. The Emco CNC software makes the spindle turn at high RPM’s but. I don’t care to learn to operate Emco CNC software. Overall good appearance; paint is chipped, scratched, stained and faded in spots. Il and oxidation stains as can be expected from age. Spindle nose mount Rohm 3 jaw chuck with back plate in fair condition with brand new ready to grind Rohm jaws. Chuck uses standard 6mm hex key to tighten jaws.
