This is a beautiful piece to display, or even use. It is from a collection I bought. The bd, and most pieces are brass or bronze. The screws and some smaller parts are steel. I see no makers name on this lathe. This lathe has a pulley, so with a belt it can be driven with a motor, or even hand powered. The 3-clamp headstock measures 4 ¾ inches in diameter. The compound slide is very nice, and has a clamp-down tool holder ion top. This is an elegant & beautiful machine. It measures 14 inches long. The base is 12 inches long.
