## Antique Watchmaker Lathe/Mandrel with Unusual Gearing, Compound Slide, Extras
General Description : What is being offered for sale is a highly collectible antique watchmakers lathe/mandrel set-up. The mandrel was most likely made during the first half of the 1800s. The drive gearing is most unusual. The mandrel comes with (1) compound slide, (2), tailstock with adapted universal chuck, (3) runner for tailstock, (4) filing rest, and (5) miscellaneous small tools and belts. The mandrel set-up comes with a vintage motor by Sunkist? See the photo gallery for details and as-found condition, which is dirty but should clean up beautifully with a little labor of love. The mandrel is fully functional. All parts move freely. The vintage motor is operational. The full length of the mandrel is 12-1/2. The length of the bed is 7. The weight the mandrel set-up is a hefty 21-1/2 pounds. It is important to me that every customer is 100% satisfied. If you receive such a notice, it is fraudulent and not from me.
