LOGAN LATHE, 10 inch #850, 43 bed. With many tools and parts. For sale is one #850 10 inch Logan Lathe in good condition, very clean, with many tools and parts. The pan and cast iron legs are in very good condition. I installed a new 6 ¼ chuck because the original 3 jaw chuck didnt center properly, if I remember right. I welded them back on and it seems to work good, also I have a piece of tape (picture #4) that says not to use lever position E, there are two teeth broken off the gear wheel and there is a pause while running. All the other positions seem to work fine. The original motor stopped working, no smoke, just stopped working. It is included with the lathe plus some pictures how it was wired (picture #7). The new motor only runs in one direction which I had no problem with for what little I did with the lathe. The new motor is wired to run on 110/120 volts. In picture #7 is an aluminum and stainless steel catch pan I built, a new drive belt, new chuck papers and the new motor papers. In picture #8 is some original literature. And two lathe operation books. That came with the lathe. I dontknow if these things are for the lathe or not. Below is a list of tools and parts in pictures #9, 10, 11, and 12. Another gage and small spanner wrench. 1- Ridgid 1/4 Die. 1- Morris Taper Adaptor. 1- Ridgid 3/8 Die. 9- Morris Taper Adaptors. 1- Piece 3/4″ x 3/4″ x 4 3/8 Stellite 98 M2 nonmagnetic square stock. 2- 1/4 square Tee Handles. 1- 15/64 drill with Morris Taper. 2- Counter Sinks with Morris Taper. 2- Conbined drill & counter sink. 1- Jacobs Chuck #7. 1- Jacobs Chuck 1 A. 1- Jacobs Chuck #33. 5/64- 1/2 with a Jacobs #2 MorrisTaper. 1- Jacobs Chuck Key #32.
