Barely used and in excellent condition, this center saver is the bowl coring/hollowing system from Kelton. It makes nested bowls or multiple bowls out of one blank. Instead of sweeping up a pile of shavings you can make multiple bowls from a single blank. It is the Standard/Large system with 5 curved blades plus two straight blades set with the standard five pin gate and tool holder. The set is supplied with a 16 1/2 handle with a 7 1/2 inch extension, and a 25mm (1) diameter column. Included is the Mike Mahoney Instructional DVD and instructions. This system is for a medium to large lathe with a 1 inch banjo mount. If your banjo takes a different size post it can be ordered from McNaughten or their suppliers. This system is not for a beginner in bowl making. There are many demonstration and instructional videos on YouTube, check them out and make sure this system is for you. The knurled quick release knob is not included, I found it was useless and got in the way when storing the tool in my rack.
