Fall River, MA rotary armature cutter with four (4) collets. Collets thread internally, threads and keyways are all in good order. Collets are marked 625,635, 669, and 562. Includes what I believe to be the original metal box. 1940’s hand lathe that is designed for reconditioning armatures for GM, Ford, and Chrysler cars and trucks that have. 669 armature shaft, where the collet of this tool fits on, to true or turn the commutator shaft. Basically this is a human powered lathe, designed to save time in the automotive shop, by not having to send lathe work out to a machine shop. The metal case has some surface rust on it, about 40% gray/green paint intact, and is marked MADE BY STEVENS WALDEN INC. On the bottom outside. The case also has a place to hold 2 of the three included collets to fit this lathe. We have never seen another one like this, a very nice old automotive tool!
