I believe this model was made between the mid 1960, s to the mid 1970, s. There are 2 different numbers listed on this lathe. The first being on the engine w/ the red plate reads, Type UG7750. The 2nd manufacturers (black plate) reads, SL 1000. This Lathe has been WELL TAKEN CARE OF. Free of ANY DAMAGE. Tested and WORKS as it should! These German made Lathes from the 50, s 60, s and 70’s are becoming more scarce and are sought after by Watchmakers, Jewelry Makers, as well as Gunsmiths for their quality precision and accuracy, and the fact that they were built to last for generations to come. This lathe has been secured to a solid piece of hard wood that has solid brass handles so that the machine can move around the work area problem free. The cord has NO damage of ANY KIND. Free of any nicks, breaks, or slices and is completely DAMAGE FREE. The lathe itself measures: approx. 17 inches long and is 9 inches high. The platform that the board has been placed on measures: 20 inches long and the hard wood is 2 inches thick. The cord is 3 pronged and measures: approx. 6 FEET in length.
