Vintage Unimat DB200 Lathe with Attachments & Wooden Chest
This is an early cast iron, red badge UNIMAT DB200 Lathe made in Austria. It includes the milling attachment, miscellaneous tooling, and the original wooden storage box. The lathe runs great and all its parts move smoothly and easily. The only thing wrong with the lathe is that it has some paint chipped and worn off from use and the on/off switch is a little reluctant to turn off. You have to give it a bit of a snap when turning off to get it to work. It currently has only one drive belt. List of The DB 200 Lathe & Tooling – Lathe with tailstock, carriage and cross slide – 3 Jaw chuck – face plate – 2 dead centers – drill chuck & key – tool post – milling column – milling table & 2 hold down fingers – vise – misc. Cap screws and t-nuts – original operating manual I bought this lathe used, over 30 years ago. During the time that I have owned it, it has mostly been used for polishing clock pivots, not hard use.
