Watchmakers lathe 8mm, Wolf & Jahn Geneva pattern no reserve
Wolf & Jahn are well respected German manufacturers. Headstock with the often lost indexing lever (it rotates freely with no discernable play or end float). Drawbar for 8mm collets. Set of five step chucks. Contemporary box (actually from a Triumph lathe). Tailstock with centering runner. Offset runner, centring runner, cone plates and drilling runner for repotting work. Step chucks (mixed manufacturers). Custom designed cross slide based. As can be seen the finish on this lathe is in fair to good condition. This lathe would be an ideal addition to the workshop of someone involved in the repair and restoration of vintage clocks and watches. It has a good range of accessories and capabilities which could enhance the range of projects you could tackle. This lathe was obtained from a watch repairers estate sale and was probably made around the middle of the 20th century. Please ask if you need any further information.
