It is made for the Derbyshire Elect lathe which is with 60mm center height. It will not work on a Levin lathe which has 50mm center height unless the headstock is on a raiser block. It will work on Derbyshire 750 and Model A with 15mm raiser block under the tool post or under the slide. I tightened the gibs screws and measured the Backlash. The lower screw has about 5 small divisions BL and the top screw has about 2. One division is 1/100th of a turn. It is an INCH version and the dials are numbered 0 to 50 with 100 divisions. Distance from lathe bed to top of slide 46.2 mm. Lower slide travel – about 87mm or 3.4″ Top side travel- about 77mm or 3.0″.
