Vintage Clean Well Tooled 1937 9 South Bend Lathe. Everything is all very low wear. Gears, ways, half nuts, feed screws…… Lots of tooling pictured/included. The manual is also a 1937 edition. It has the thread dial and change gears so you can cut threads. The only thing you need is a motor and you can set this up & start machining. This would be a great machine for gunsmithing, model railroad, antique fan & gas engine repair, antique auto repair, lawn mower repair……. I’ve had various metal lathes for 50 years…… You need a lathe! Also it looks like I’m going to Kinzers R & T Threshermen’s Reunion Aug 19th. This lathe is small enough that you could transport it with a car. You just take it apart. That’s how I move it, I never moved one whole.
